I've taken great pleasure in slashing 17k over the last few months from last year's overblown NaNo novel. And I've got only about half way through!! You know I hate editi...It is a very daunting task. You know I hate editing. But at the same time it is VERY satisfying. As you get a few rounds under your belt, you read back on parts and just smile and think to yourself "this is good." Just take little bits at a time. Just try and edit like 5 pages a day, and only focus on those 5 pages to make them shine to their best. And you don't have to do it all at once.
