WIP Day - The next leg!

This will be a speedy post today.  I have construction workers running rampant in my apartment, finally replacing all of the windows.  Someone call the exterminator!  Luckily, hubby is still home for a bit, giving me this small amount of blogging time before I have to get back to keeping my two little guys away from the excitement.  How I long for a house... or a second car.

Anyway!

Good news!  I finished my paper edit!  Go ahead... join me... *HAPPY DANCE*

I spent a good chunk of this last weekend editing away (when not editing the maternity photos that I just took for a friend.  Love preggo bellies!)  By Monday I only had about 17 pages left, and I managed to bust them out and close the red, bleeding book just before the new episode of House clicked on. 

Yay me!

It sure felt good to finish that round.  I know I have a ton of work ahead of me.  Now its a couple day break for my poor brain, then I dive right back in.  Plugging my edits into the word doc.  Going through all the beta comments and seeing what else I missed.  Plugging THAT in.  Phew!

At this moment in time, I have feedback from five of my betas.  Still waiting on two... but if I don't get that soon, oh well.  I think I have enough to really see what this creation of mine did.  I am very excited to go through their thoughts.  And nervous.  Kinda nervous... Really nervous.

As of now, I am thinking that Friday I will start back in.  We will see if my brain allows.  I just may have to force it.  Being as I have never gotten this far... I have no idea how long it will take to edit.  Or for my head to explode.  Which ever comes first, I am sure it will be epic.
