WIP Day - Queries and New WIPS anyone?

Is it just me, or is time really flying right now?  Honestly, I can't believe it is Wednesday already!  Is it, really?
*Looks at calendar*

It is, and we all know know what that means.  Its WIP day!

Let's get this thing going!

PN Update:
I sent off more queries.  Wow, what a process!  I am now trying to decide if I want to send even more, or live with what I have sent and let those decide my fate.  My plan still is firm: See what the summer brings, then if it just isn't feeling right, self-publish with CreateSpace.  I am already leaning towards that... but I knew I had to dip into this query world before I did anything.  Who knows, amazing things just may happen, right?

I have already received my first rejection email. It's true.  To be honest, I was bummed.  It isn't the best feeling in the world to find that your book just was not enough for someone.  But I keep reminding myself that it was just one agent.  There are many more out there, all with different desires.  I am just hoping I am one of those desires.  We will see!!

New WIP:
With PN done and waiting its someday reveal to the world, I now get to move on to new WIPs!  My next move?  Finish In The Blood.  (Title very subject to change)  ITB is the book I was working on before PN took over my life, and I would love to dive in and finish it.

I am trying to decide if I want to keep it in 3rd person, or change it all into 1st.  Decisions!
Either way, I am very excited to rewrite and finish!  I was planning on doing this project for Camp NaNoWriMo come August, but I am not sure if I will be able to wait that long.  We shall see.

I will post a synopsis for it... soon.  Once I revamp the one I had.  Let's just say though:  I am very excited for ITB.  It is very different than PN.

One more thing:
You know my friend Kimmel?  The one I am always mentioning?
Well, she has put her book up for sale!
Kimmel decided to go the Indie route, and her book Transformation is now for sale via CreateSpace and Amazon, with B&N soon to follow.

I have to say, I am super super proud of her.  This is Kimmel's first novel, and I was with her every step of the way as she discovered this crazy writing world we all live in.  I will be doing an interview with Kimmel in a few weeks, along with a signed Give-Away of Transformation, so keep your eyes open!  Until then... go check out her book and add her on Goodreads!  Kimmel, you are amazing!

(Amazon paperback and B&N to come very soon!)

That's it for this week!  How is you WIP day doing?  Happy Writing!

And thanks for the shout out! You Rock!

Good luck for finishing and rewriting! Rejections suck, but remember, it only takes one yes to do wonders. ;)

Congratulations to Kimmel! And I know rejections can be bumming (if that's a word...hehe) but hang in there! We all go through it.
