WIP Day - Birthday! (And WriMo winning)
Hey!
It's my birthday!
Yay!
Ok, honestly... I have not really been feeling my birthday. It is hard to, when it just feels like another day with nothing really special happening. Sad, I know. But I am trying to get myself happy and excited about it, so I am forcing this happy dance.
Today, 25 years ago, I was born. Hello world, here I am.
25 years later: I am very happily married, have two amazing kids, am addicted to my blog, write like there is no tomorrow and take way too many photos. I have to say, all in all, I am pretty proud of the person I have grown into.
I hope to make this 25th year even more amazing than the last.
*Blows out candles*
On another note:
I finished Camp NaNoWriMo. Barely. I literally had to pull the last few (thousand) words out like teeth, and have no doubt there is ALOT of editing awaiting me in the coming future. Alot. But I am proud of it. (Mostly) I love this story, and can't wait to polish, re-write, edit, polish some more... and eventually craft into a book worth reading!
Still... I won!
*does another happy dance*
Now, time for me to enjoy the rest of my birthday with my family and friends. This vacation is going great. I filled it with lots of photo shoots, lots of friend time, and am loving every minute of it.
Still, I am anxious to get back home and back into my writing world.
I miss it.
That's the best sign yet.
*smiles*
